Aeronautical engineers build an aircraft that can fly within the earth's atmosphere including military flying technology, commercial and passenger jets, helicopters, and even drones.
Astronautical engineers design and build spacecraft. They have to deal with all the complexities of the harsh outer space environment.
Courses include aerodynamics, flight mechanics, materials science, propulsion systems, and structural analysis.
Graduates can work in defense industries, aerospace companies, space technology firms, R&D centers, and engineering companies.
The language of instruction is 100% English.
Aerodynamics Laboratory
Aerodynamic force measurements, flow visualization, and aircraft performance tests are conducted using a low-speed wind tunnel.
Jet Engine
The educational micro gas-turbine jet engine system allows students to study thrust production, engine components, and turbine operating principles.
Simulation Laboratory
High-performance computers are used for structural analysis, fluid mechanics simulations, and various engineering simulations.
IEU SmallSat Design and Simulation Laboratory
CubeSat/SmallSat design, orbital analysis, mission planning, and satellite subsystem simulations are carried out in this lab.
UAV and Avionics Laboratory
This laboratory focuses on the design and testing of unmanned aerial vehicles, flight control systems, electronic subsystems, and avionics components. A 3D printer is also available in this lab.
